The Bradford Community Safety Partnership is a multi agency partnership working to make our district safer.  Our purpose is to tackle crime, disorder, anti-social behaviour and drug and alcohol misuse problems.

Bradford’s Community Safety Partnership brings together representatives from Bradford Council (Safeguarding Adult’s Board, Children’s Safeguarding Board and Health & Wellbeing Board) West Yorkshire Police, National Probation Service, Public Health, Bradford and Airedale NHS, Incommunities, Voluntary and Community Sector, Fire & Rescue Service, the CPS and the Office of the Police & Crime Commissioner.

The Community Safety Partnership Board is our governing body and this is chaired by Councillor Abdul Jabar, the Neighbourhoods and Safer Communities Portfolio holder

Bradford Community Safety Partnership Board meets quarterly and is supported by three Strategic Groups who co-ordinate Community Safety Strategy and Activity.

The three strategic groups who sit underneath the Community Safety Partnership Board represent the key priorities for the Partnership which are:

  • Tackling Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence
  • Tackling Crime and Reoffending
  • Tackling Anti-Social Behaviour

The Bradford Community Safety Partnership produces a 3 year 'rolling' community safety plan which is reviewed annually through a strategic assessment.

Each year the Partnership prepares a Strategic Assessment to assist in revising the plan and the community safety priorities for the district.

The strategic assessment includes information on:

  • Analysis of levels of crime.
  • Changes in crime since last strategic assessment.
  • Views from the community on matters that need to be prioritised.
